Lake Erie Wine Country Harvest Celebration

Lake Erie Wine Country Feature

Get out of the city for a weekend and experience the Lake Erie Wine Country Harvest Celebration

Lake Erie Wine Country, formerly known as Chautauqua-Lake Erie Wine Trail, will be hosting two fabulous Fall Harvest Celebrations in November, so grab some friends and hit the trail!

Take the Lake Erie Wine Country Harvest Celebration at your own pace by driving yourself (designated drivers are rewarded with lower priced ticket), picking the order of wine stops, and sample and pair what you want at all 25 participating wineries. This sounds like the most relaxing wine weekend conceivable!

So will a weekend on the wine trail accommodate vegetarians? Absolutely! The Food & Wine Sample Pairings Menu lists the pairings at each location, so it’s very easy to map out which of the 25 wineries you want to stop at so the vegetarians and vegans can pair food and wine.

Tickets are $35 ($20 for DDs) and for sale on Lake Erie Wine Country’s Events page (see the end of this post for links). The First Weekend is November 7th, 2014 through November 9th, 2014 and the Second Weekend is November 14th through 16th. On Friday the party kicks off at noon and goes until 5pm, and for Saturdays and Sundays the hours are 10am ’til 5pm. Which ever weekend you choose, your tickets are good for all three days. They won’t be good for overlapping weeks. Nice try, though! *wink*

Tickets Include:

  • A food & wine sample pairing at each winery
  • Wine tasting
  • A great gift!
  • A booklet containing all of the recipes of the foods you’ll be tasting
  • A Lake Erie Wine Country wine glass
  • A $5 voucher to use at any winery or at certain restaurants designated on the back of the voucher

There will be no refunds available, but the event page does mention tickets are completely transferable in case something comes up.

Tickets will be ready for pick up at the first winery of your choosing, so you don’t have to worry about waiting for them in the mail or leaving them at home.
